Pixafy

fluent accross all web languages, and plain english

We provide the technology you need
to meet your business goals.

This could be a custom website that blends pixel perfect design with high quality engineering, an e-commerce solution that delivers a safe and powerful customer experience, or a mobile application that puts your brand directly into people's hands. Our talented and experienced team has over 10 years of experience developing world-class websites and applications, and we leverage the latest technologies, content management solutions, open source platforms, and web standards to solve any challenge.

And we don't just build sites, we build relationships. Our clients have led us to discover new ways to leverage Amazon Web Services to place mission-critical services in the cloud, build out tools using Google Search API for Shopping, and harness the power of open source platforms like Drupal, Joomla and Magento. We are committed to making our customers' businesses successful in any way we can.

Our agile development process

We know there's a certain leap of faith involved when you bring on a development partner - unless you can read code, it's hard to peek under the hood. So we're as transparent as possible on strategy, process, hours spent, and technical approach. We believe in ongoing contact with our clients, starting with regular scrums and demonstrations that keep you posted on how your project is coming along.

After launch, we continue to work with clients to determine what areas we can build upon for the next generation. We believe a web site, like the development process, is iterative - meaning refinements and enhancements can continue to improve the experience and the functionality over time. That's why a partnership is so important.

Uri Foox

Uri Foox

President

Uri, the founder of Pixafy, has over 15 years of web experience, starting with his forward-thinking creation of CGI For Me, the internet's first website providing free-hosted scripts that allow users to add interactive elements to their site at the touch of a button. While managing the highly successful run of CGI For Me, he also spent his time consulting for EMC, the $11 billion storage creation company. He assisted EMC on developing course curriculum for software engineers, as well as working in the R&D division mapping virtualized hardware, software, networks, and the provisioning software for the Cisco Unified Computer System. And if that doesn't impress you because it means nothing to you, he spent time as a volunteer firefighter and has his pilot's license - he can fight fires while flying a plane! Well, maybe not both at once. Uri is a graduate of Binghamton University in Political Science, a degree that comes in handy when reading the paper every morning before work. Uri lives in Manhattan.
