We’re big fans of Melanie Dunea and her work, which made it a thrill when we had the chance to build her new site for My Last Supper, which launched in tandem with her second book, ”My Last Supper: The Next Course,” last fall.
One exciting part about her site is the addition of video episodes of the series, where she sits down with chefs and celebrities alike to discuss what they would enjoy if they only had one more meal on earth. It’s a great concept, and leads to fascinating discussions.
The latest video, with Mary Louise Parker, is a lot of fun, and highlights some of the things we love most about Melanie: She offers surprising glimpses into her subjects, isn’t afraid to be bold and has a bit of fun.
Check out the episode; you’ll find yourself digging into the archives very quickly. While there, check out the amazing library (and growing!) of recipes, as well as photo subjects, which is Melanie’s main profession and how the series got started.
And, of course, once you discover how awesome the My Last Supper concept is, get the books, including the original “My Last Supper.”
