Congrats to Manny, an employee reaping rewards

Posted by Pixafy

We know at Pixafy that as a service business, the people are important.  We also want to recognize the amazing work our team is doing regularly.  So, earlier this year we kicked off a rewards and recognition program for employees that are doing stellar work, which includes demos by the employee being honored, so others can learn from techniques and tools that the honoree has found useful.

A recent recognition went to one of our original hires, Emmanuel Etienne, who’s a senior engineer here at Pixafy.  Manny’s work is consistently innovative and creative, leading to some excellent solutions for our clients.  We took a few photos of Manny receiving his award this week; check it out on Facebook, and while you’re there, be sure to like our page!

Interview with Pixafy Digital Interface Developer Khalid Saleem

Posted by Khalid Saleem

Q:  Where are you originally from?  Do you still have family there?  Do you have any siblings?  If so, what do they do?  Any significant/insignificant others?  Pets?

I am originally from Afghanistan. Yes, the breaking news country! But seriously, we have many technology geeks. I used to work in the United Nations with a group of people who were not only making websites, but working more on the nationwide technology policies, laws and how it should govern. There were some real experts on developing country wide Information and Communication technology infrastructure. That was a great experience.

My family lives in Pakistan and hopefully soon they will be in the US as well.

My apartment is too small for keeping a pet and my son all together :O), I would love to have a hamster for my son, but that’s where my wife permission comes in as well, so let’s forget it. (more…)
