Our friends at Honor have launched their Spring 2013 collection for presale on the Honor online store. Pixafy constructed Honor’s online store on a customized version of Magento with designs provided by RoAndCo.
Honor, founded by Giovanna Randall, has quickly built a name for itself over the past few years, earning a reputation of designing quality, elegant fashions that have earned plaudits from fashion critics and support from celebrities that wear the line. The Spring 2013 collection continues the company’s ethos of fashion that infuses a heritage of fearless women, both past and present.

It’s summertime, and that means vacations, travel and spending time in the outdoors. But as enjoyable as it can be soaking up some rays, it can also be damaging. Even if you put sunscreen on, did you know that you can still be exposed to damaging UV rays since they penetrate your clothing?
The team at Mott 50 saw an opportunity to create fashionable clothing that also includes sun protection, building a certified Ultraviolet Protection Factor into each garment. This means your clothing now protects you as well, ensuring you stay safe from harmful UV rays while enjoying yourself.
We’ve been working with Mott 50 since the beginning, and we’re happy to call them a client. You’ll be happy too once you’ve treated yourself to some sun protective fashion. Check out their line by clicking here.

A number of the Pixafy team members are avid tennis fans, so we get excited when we get to work on a project related to the sport. We recently launched L’Etoile Sport, which we worked on with Red Antler, our longtime partner. We built the front end of the site, including a blog section and press, on WordPress, with the back end on the Shopify hosted ecommerce platform.
We really had fun implementing subtle use of responsive design on the homepage, allowing the homepage to expand and contract a bit based on the user’s screen resolution. This allows iPad and iMac users alike to have a great experience! JQuery rollovers and effects make the site pop, without distracting from the attractive apparel. Early press attention for the high-quality line has already come from the likes of Vanity Fair and What 2 Wear Where.
If you’re a tennis player you should check out the offerings at L’Etoile Sport!
