Recognizing employees who excel every day
Our Rewards and Recognition program has been letting peers herald the great work of their teammates for almost a year now, and it’s been inspiring to see why people get nominated over the past year. Recognizing good work day in, day out
Pixafy’s Rewards and Recognition program allows its peers to nominate those in the office doing incredible work, and ensure they get noticed. During the month of January, a slew of nominations arrived for Siarhej Autushka, one of our engineers.
Siarhej hasn’t been with us all that long, but has already made a major impact in our team, proving himself an excellent programmer, earning praise for his work both from others on the team and from the clients he serves, but also has proven himself to be a team player when it comes to sharing knowledge to ensure everyone at Pixafy can benefit from what he knows and learns.

Rewards and Recognition: Honoring the elegant solution
One of my favorite phrases to our team is that there’s always many solutions to a problem, but the key is to find the elegant solution – that one solution that goes a step farther, is a bit cleaner or is just a little simpler for the client. Those little differences, over the course of a project, can lead to something good becoming great, and something great becoming exemplary.
To encourage this, we established a Rewards and Recognition program to honor those in our staff who are finding those solutions. Furthermore, nominations come from peers, ensuring that we all spot and recognize those who are aiming for that elegant solution. (more…)
