Novo Surgical’s mission is to pioneer the way industry professionals buy precision surgical instruments. The cornerstone of their approach is a feature rich web store offering customers a full suite of tools, including quote-building, robust product configuration, ordering and tracking all through an easy-to-use, online interface.

In order to meet these goals and keep operating costs down the site needed to utilize a best-of-breed ecommerce platform and integrate closely with their existing Sage 100 system. Utilizing the Magento ecommerce platform and In-Synch, Pixafy offered real-time integration across customers, sales, order-history, pricing and inventory.

Pixafy worked closely with Novo throughout out the project. The project included an analysis phase to define user interface guidelines, functional specifications, integration requirements and project timeline. The development included several customizations and third party extension to Magento as well as an initial import of over 30,000 products.
