To achieve this goal, we helped Rock Paper Photo use the homepage builder feature of Magento Enterprise Edition, giving them a higher degree of flexibility in their homepage design. This allows Rock Paper Photo to cultivate collections on the homepage, making it easier to browse the site so customers can find what they want. We also rolled out the SOLR Search tool, making the entire collection searchable so shoppers can find what they want quickly.

The emphasis on the customer experience extended out to a responsive design completed by Red Antler, letting shoppers interact with the site using any device. These customer-facing functions are supported by a custom-built product synchronization API that passes data between back-office tools. Rounding all this out is a WordPress blog that gives Rock Paper Photo an opportunity to engage shoppers through a variety of content types. Selling unique products creates a number of ecommerce challenges - particularly when it comes to informing customers about what is available within the catalog - but strategic site design and advanced search tools make it easy to keep shoppers engaged and help them find exactly what they are looking for.
