Responsibilities
Pixafy is looking for a super meticulous bug finder and manual Quality Assurance Engineer. As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will ensure that the functionality that makes its way from our developers’ computers meets the high expectations of our customers. The position requires someone who is a self-starter and has a get-it-done attitude that can tackle projects head-on without a lot of hand-holding.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop, maintain and execute manual test cases for major projects, maintenance, and emergency releases
- Identify, analyze and report test results
- Report, track, and monitor defects in the defect tracking system
- Investigate defect reports from production support and isolate their causes
- Prepare test documentation and review with development team
- Work closely with development team to design testing strategies
- Work on the interpretation of quality assurance issues and problems for technical and non-technical users
What we'd like to see
- 2+ years’ experience in manual testing for web-based and standalone applications
- Experience developing, documenting and implementing quality assurance standards
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools
- Strong experience with cross browser and cross platform testing (PC, mobile and tablet)
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience writing new test cases based on requirements
- Familiarity with Agile methodology
- Ability to effectively manage time, and individually prioritize multiple tasks of competing priority
- Demonstrated positive, results oriented attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- E-Commerce experience is a plus
- Experience using automation testing is a plus
