Heather Thomson of the Real Housewives of New York City wanted an eCommerce site that reflected her vision for her innovative women’s shapewear brand, Yummie by Heather Thomson. Working with design partner Truth NYC, Pixafy developed a fully-responsive optimized eCommerce site that utilizes the Magento Enterprise Edition platform, including a number of custom Pixafy modules to allow for enhanced site functionality, that integrated with NetSuite. To create an engaging Pinterest-style blog for Yummie, Pixafy installed a heavily customized WordPress that ensured the company could easily make updates. Expert use of jQuery enhances the site’s look and feel, while rock-solid Herculo hosting provides incredible server stability and blazing fast site speed.

Tennis sensation Maria Sharapova branched out into the world of premium candy with a bold brand vision and website designed by our partners at Red Antler. Nobel Biocare has worked with Pixafy for much of 2012 to build a strong foundation for future growth. Pixafy tied the open-source Magento platform to their existing SAP and SalesForce.com resources. The platform provides an enhanced ordering experience for Nobel Biocare’s customers. Eyeware innovator Warby Parker is making waves for its boutique-quality, vintage-inspired glasses, offered at a revolutionary price point. Silverleaf Resorts offers vacation experiences from a network of high-quality resorts with country club style amenities. Working with our longtime design partner Red Antler, Pixafy helped rebuild Silverleaf Resorts’ website as a fully responsive multisite under one installation of Drupal 7, making it easy for administrators to update the site from one interface. Conveniently, it also allows for separate logins for each branch of the resort. Pixafy integrated MapBox, an alternative of Google Maps that can be stylized to match Silverleaf’s design, Jobvite, and jQuery.

The Warby Parker of socks, Bombas offers expertly-crafted stockings optimized for athletic performance and designed for extreme leisure. After a wildly successful Indiegogo campaign, Bombas approached Pixafy to create a full-featured eCommerce site that possessed a great user interface that’s streamlined for their consumers. Built on Magento Community, Pixafy redesigned their homepage, category page, and product page, while also installing the Extendware Full Page Caching module that drastically improved their site load times. Bombas partnered with Hannah’s Socks, a non-profit group whose mission is to get socks to those in need. For every pair of Bombas you purchase, they donate a pair to Hannah’s Socks.

For Sun Life Financial, an international financial services company, Pixafy created a fully-responsive WordPress site for its Sun Life Healthcare Reform “Wake Up Summit.” Incorporating streaming video so that its massive viewerbase can simultaneously watch the live-cast webinar, Pixafy optimized the site to ensure that the site would be able to handle the heavy concurrent traffic during the summit. To provide a fully-integrated experience that provides relevant information before, during, and after the live event, Pixafy created three separate states and themes for the site. Integration of a library section allows Sun Life to showcase informative articles and white papers following the live event.

Tasting Table sought Pixafy’s help in enhancing their existing mobile products. Pixafy built Draft Sites Network’s suite of seven sports draft websites, including NEPatriotsDraft.com, DetroitLionsDraft.com, and NYJetsDraft.com. The updated custom WordPress sites offer die-hard NFL followers, like New England Patriot fans, a one-stop shop for all-things pertaining to the NFL draft. Pixafy developed the sites for ease of use, enabling the client to share up-to-date information regarding the sports teams’ draft statuses with loyal fans. The popular bakery SusieCakes wanted to expand their growing regional chain into the realm of the web, taking orders for pick-up or delivery online. My Last Supper
The My Last Supper book, featuring 50 chefs and their last meals, has been a sensation since its release and led to a second volume in the series. In advance of the release of The Next Course, Pixafy set up a WordPress-based site, with customization to allow for video, photo, interview and recipe postings, as well as a social component that includes pulling photos directly from the My Last Supper Facebook page.

The TopDog team wanted to take advantage of the power of social to build competitions that people could participate in, both via submissions and via “boosting,” or voting for a candidate. Duarte sought out Pixafy to help them build out a Magento store that handled the unique nature of their offerings. Mothercare Early Learning Centre: Russia
For our first game for our new mobile division, Order of Leisure, Pixafy built out a classic solitaire game, Kings’ Corners, with some unique twists to make the game even more addictive. The gameplay is simple, it’s a challenge to win, and the replay factor is high.

The global Mothercare brand was looking for a way to update and modernize their eCommerce solution in a way that would also be more ecomonical. Pixafy, in tandem with partner Radical Company, customized a version of Magento Enterprise Edition for the Early Learning Centre site of Mothercare’s Russia affiliate. NYC Media Lab wanted a more robust site to go along with their re-branding led by our close partners Red Antler. The NYC Media Lab site is deceptively simple, at one long page, but there’s a lot going on, including editable sections via Joomla, a connection to Luminoso to provide semantic search for member bios, pulling events in using the EventBrite API and standard ties into Twitter and MailChimp.
