Challenge
Completely upgrade their site in phases, including creation and launch of a unique chat system into their existing live talk platform.
Solution
Thousands of mothers visit The Motherhood to take part in lively conversations during their live talks. As their technology partner, Pixafy has completed multiple phases of work. Last year, we implemented a one-of-a-kind solution that allows for real-time display of comments and replies, allowing for a more interactive experience shared by thousands of visitors at the same time. This year, we fleshed out the chats, upgraded their forums and added additional functionality, such as a blog, all while implementing a top-to-bottom redesign with longtime partner Red Antler.

Baseball HQ
Challenge
Move the Baseball HQ website out of the realm of static pages and into the realm of an easily-updated CMS, modernizing the production process for a content-rich site.
Solution
Baseball HQ is one of the most unique and longest running fantasy sports sites around, but the site was challenging to maintain. Pixafy migrated its userbase, subscription model and content to a Drupal-based CMS, integrating tools previously built outside of the CMS and moving the site to a cloud-based hosting environment. The new site balances the needs of an older audience with the power needed by the BHQ team to enhance and grow their site for years to come.

Duarte Shop
Challenge
Use Magento to handle registration for workshops and special virtual goods.
Solution
Duarte sought out Pixafy to help them build out a Magento store that handled the unique nature of their offerings. Pixafy constructed a workshop registration system that enhanced Magento's core functions to capture key information based on the number of attendees, and set up a calendar system to display the different types of classes. We also enhanced the downloadable goods capability for their purposes.

Challenge
Set up a robust site for King & Grove's owners to showcase their properties.
Solution
King & Grove was ready to upgrade their web presence to be a more robust experience, better capturing the mood and feeling of their properties. Pixafy delivered, making it easy for visitors to make reservations, building interfaces that allowed easy publishing of items like calendars and photo galleries, and set the site up on Drupal for easier maintenance and updates later.

Challenge
Build a new website for Haverford based on the Drupal platform for easy updates.
Solution
Haverford is a trusted name in the financial world that puts people first, both their customers and their employees. Pixafy was enlisted to help realize the technical needs of a new site that put their people front and center, allowing visitors to learn about their team and allowing Haverford's technical team to easily update information about their company and employees.

Mothercare Early Learning Centre: Russia
Challenge
Launch a Magento-based version of their ELC-branded store for their Russian franchise.
Solution
The global Mothercare brand was looking for a way to update and modernize their eCommerce solution in a way that would also be more ecomonical. Pixafy, in tandem with partner Radical Company, customized a version of Magento Enterprise Edition for the Early Learning Centre site of Mothercare's Russia affiliate. Branding and other design concepts were faithfully executed, while making massive improvements to the functionality available for the franchise, using both core Magento functionality and through additions made by Pixafy and Radical Company.

NYC Media Lab
Challenge
Build a Drupal-based website with some specific API hooks.
Solution
NYC Media Lab wanted a more robust site to go along with their re-branding led by our close partners Red Antler. The NYC Media Lab site is deceptively simple, at one long page, but there's a lot going on, including editable sections via Joomla, a connection to Luminoso to provide semantic search for member bios, pulling events in using the EventBrite API and standard ties into Twitter and MailChimp.

Challenge
Quickly deploy a basic informational site as a complement to their existing website, in a way that will be easy to manage and update.
Solution
Pixafy quickly implemented a Wordpress-based site with basic mechanisms to discourage visits from people other than in the countries which Altrinsic Funds operates, and setting up easily editable pop-up windows using some additional technology within Wordpress. mNovakDesign provided a design that blended with their current look, and Pixafy implemented web fonts to enhance the branding.

Challenge
Set up an easily-updatable site for a merchant banking company.
Solution
Co-Rise needed an updated website that both reflected their image and gave them easy access to update contents. Working with longtime partner Red Antler, Pixafy delivered, pulling in interactive stock quotes, Twitter feeds and blogs while putting the entire site on the Drupal platform, ensuring the company had easy access to make changes later. Subtle UI touches using JQuery give the site a modern feel.

Challenge
Unify disparate technology pieces into a unified platform based on Magento.
Solution
Alton Lane's technology needs were growing, and Pixafy helped them unify a series of solutions into an up-to-date version of Magento, while making key customizations for providing a top-notch online experience to match the quality of their clothing. Pixafy set up a full tracking system, linked to their factory for up-to-date product status information, built a system that allowed for customized automated E-mails to be generated, and updated their store technology to allow for better online shopping, along with in-store use of the custom clothing creator via an iPad.

My Last Supper
Challenge
Under a tight deadline, construct a site allowing author Melanie Dunea to build a conversation with fans of her book series.
Solution
The My Last Supper book, featuring 50 chefs and their last meals, has been a sensation since its release and led to a second volume in the series. In advance of the release of The Next Course, Pixafy set up a Wordpress-based site, with customization to allow for video, photo, interview and recipe postings, as well as a social component that includes pulling photos directly from the My Last Supper Facebook page.

Challenge
Construct a new way for people to refer doctors to friends in their social network.
Solution
Using the power of the social graph, Pixafy integrated Facebook Connect to allow people to see who their friends have recommended in an aggregated, anonymous way, along with a checkup tool that helps people know what medical needs they should expect as they age. Pixafy guided the owners through the technical decisions necessary to launch their referral service.

Challenge
Assemble a new eCommerce and homepage package that's as delicious as their baked goods.
Solution
The popular bakery SusieCakes wanted to expand their six-unit chain into the realm of the web, taking orders for pick-up or delivery online. Pixafy reworked Magento to allow for either option using a multi-store view and shared cart/basket across multiple stores, while at the same time setting up a CMS for the company's staff to be able to more easily manage their online presence.

Challenge
Customize an eCommerce and CMS solution to allow Bolt to launch its online presence.
Solution
The inventor of a new tennis racquet needed a site as dynamic and innovative as his product. Pixafy created the technology that allowed Bolt to offer demos to potential buyers, and built out and trained Bolt's staff on a store and CMS platform that gives them the power to maintain their website and update as needed.

Challenge
Provide back-up support for the BustedTees team, developing two additional pages for the growing site.
Solution
BustedTees' development team found themselves busy when the need for a couple of additional pages came up, so they turned to Pixafy for some support. Our team implemented a redesign of their Shirt of the Month page, as well as coded and implemented a design for a new deals program. Pixafy worked within their existing development architecture to allow a speedy deployment.

American Academy in Rome
Challenge
Relaunch a complex website in Drupal to make it easier to manage and update.
Solution
The American Academy in Rome principals were on an outdated website with a CMS that was challenging to use and even harder to update as their needs evolved. Pixafy worked with them to migrate their site to a new platform built using Drupal, creating custom views and modules to allow the bi-lingual academy site to thrive.

Tasting Table Facebook Sweepstakes Application
Challenge
Build Facebook a robust, customizable sweepstakes tool within the confines of Facebook.
Solution
As part of Pixafy's ongoing partnership with Tasting Table, we built out a custom application that lets people sign up for sweepstakes when they like Tasting Table on Facebook. They can customize the prizes and promo graphic, and queue up the next sweepstakes when the previous one is complete.

Challenge
Reset an eCommerce site with a new platform and design in a very tight timeframe.
Solution
When the owner of Shop the Far Out approached Pixafy, she was frustrated with the limitations of her current store. We rolled out a new version of the store on Magento and implemeted a brand new design on a quick timeframe to allow the store to keep its momentum going.

Customize and install a solution for both eCommerce and CMS for Mott 50, a new fashion line.
Solution
We took a baseline installation of Magento and Joomla and customized it with in-house developed modules to add functionality that otherwise wasn't available in the software. We also integrated their site with Quiet Logistics, a fulfillment partner, to allow for automatic communication of orders and automatic updating of inventory on their site.

Challenge
Implement a richly fulfilling visual experience for a consortium of video directors.
Solution
For this site, our team aimed for a forward-looking set of technology that falls back gracefully when not using bleeding edge browsers. The Flowplayer video player, which is HTML 5-compliant, was customized to match the design requested and JQuery made the site visually exciting. We linked into their existing Wiredrive video hosting to power the site.

We bridge the gap so inventory, orders, and other urgent information is passed automatically between the two companies for a seamless customer experience.

FAST Technology
Challenge
Assist a start-up with creating a technology platform.

Challenge
On a tight timeframe, implement a high-end food website and update it monthly.
Solution
Tasting Table, a daily food newsletter based out of New York, was looking to launch a new site in association with Williams-Sonoma. Pixafy constructed a site rapidly and had it fortified in time for launch, able to withstand the traffic from an email blast sent to millions. CupcakeStop, a popular food vendor in New York City, was looking to revamp its online presence and add the ability to ship orders placed on its website. The Vow Project
Challenge
Create a web interface that allows users to subscribe to regularly-scheduled mobile messages.
Solution
The Vow Project delivers religious vows to a user while collecting donations for nonprofits in exchange for the service. We built an online infrastructure that lets people register for vows that are delivered to their mobile phone, passing the subscription seamlessly on to 2ergo for delivery. Administration tools allow the company to track subscribers and donations at a glance.

Challenge
Free site from limitations of Tumblr and update design.
Solution
Blogger Stephanie Wei wanted a richer website experience, which required moving away from the restrictions of the free Tumblr service she was using. We moved all of her content to Wordpress, retaining her URL structure so she didn't lose any SEO, and rethemed the Wordpress installation to give her a fresh look for her visitors.
